Leaving the home country can be exciting for some people, especially young adults. Voice of London spoke to a couple of international students to learn about their stories.

One of the most popular destinations for studying abroad is the UK, especially London.

Data from the HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) revealed that during the academic year 2019/2020 the number of international students in the UK reached the record.

Voice of London interviewed two international students: Saray, from Spain, and Daniele, from Lithuania, who are studying at the University of Westminster. “Home is not a place, it’s a feeling, ” says Daniele.

Students spoke about their overall experience of living and studying in the UK, including positive benefits and challenges, such as the initial language barrier and getting a job.
