It is that time of year again. No, not Christmas, but the return of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
The show is set to return on Sunday 17th November for its 18th year.
Some big names will be entering the jungle, including the likes of Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp, Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts, ex-footballer Ian Wright, musician Myles Stephenson and Eastenders’ Jacqueline Jossa.
Caitlyn Jenner is also set to be entering the jungle at 70 years old.
But, of course, I’m a Celeb isn’t what it is without plenty of dramatic moments to leave audiences crying in either fear or fits of laughter.
These are the Voice of London’s top ten moments from the show over the past 17 years.
1. Gemma Collins
In 2014, The GC took to the jungle – almost – and definitely brought the drama along with her.
It didn’t take long for the former TOWIE star to give in and say the infamous phrase.
2. Gillian McKeith faints – TWICE
McKeith caused quite a stir through the tenth series, her fainting becoming a regular occurrence throughout the show.
Luckily medics were on hand to help the presenter when she fell unconscious.
3. Fatima Whitbread’s blocked nose
If Bushtucker trials weren’t scary enough already, this scene is one that is probably seared into everyone’s memories for being one of the worst to watch.
The athlete dealt with the situation very well, but left audiences on edge, to say the least.
4. The strawberry thieves
After winning strawberries and cream for the camp, Iain Lee and Amir Khan decided to eat all of their winnings between them instead.
Khan blamed Iain for the incident, turning the whole camp against him. This later led to bullying accusations throughout the series.
5. Love at camp site
Katie Price and Peter Andre may not be together anymore, but the iconic couple first met each other duirng their time on the show, where viewers watched as their relationship blossomed.
6. There’s a dragon!
Joey Essex brought a whole new level of entertainment to the show back in 2013 – from learning to tell the time to this iconic scene. It was no surprise that the Essex boy got so far in the competition.
7. Ratted out
There was a huge out-cry from viewers following Gino Di Campo’s choice to kill a rat for food.
That being said, the chef’s culinary skills did come in handy when he prepared the animal for his camp mates.
8. Devil’s advocate
Lady Colin Campbell (Lady C) from the fifteenth series of the show definitely wasn’t one to shy away from an argument. But one of her best moments was during a cleaning task.
Isn’t this everyone’s response when they are asked to do the washing up?
9. False start
Everyone knows Bushtucker trials are far from easy. You don’t have to be there to work that one out. But in Steve Davis’ case, preparing for the trial was just as dangerous territory.
10. Let’s dance
Amongst all of the drama and arguments, it is sometimes nice to see the camp mates have a bit of fun together too. Even if it is a part of a secret mission.
Alfonso Ribeiro went for the dancing approach too, taking advantage of his camp mates’ free time with a quick lesson in the iconic Carlton dance.
