Kicking off the second day of announcements, Capital Breakfast’s Roman Kemp confirmed that Maroon 5 will play Capital’s Summertime Ball. Maroon 5 are one of the world’s biggest bands and best-selling artists. The three-time Grammy award winners have sold tens of millions of albums worldwide and are flying in to perform their massive hits for Capital listeners. Their latest single ‘Girls Like You’ featuring Cardi B topped charts across the globe, including the Billboard Hot 100. In February, they wowed a global audience of 100 million with a spectacular half time show at the Super Bowl, and this June 80,000 Capital listeners will be singing along to their epic anthems in Wembley Stadium.

Roman Kemp continued the morning of announcements with the news that rising pop sensation Ava Max will make her Capital’s Summertime Ball debut this June. Following a blockbuster past year led by his global smash ‘Rise’ ft Jack & Jack and ‘Polaroid’ with Liam Payne and Lennon Stella, Jonas Blue is guaranteed to get the party started at Capital’s Summertime Ball. His debut album ‘Blue’ is packed with massive dance anthems, including ‘Fast Car’, ‘Perfect Strangers’ and ‘Mama’. Capital listeners can look forward to another high energy set from the unstoppable producer/songwriter.

Roman rounded up the morning’s announcements by confirming Mabel for Capital’s Summertime Ball.
