A Week in the News – 01/11/19

We’re back for ‘A Week in the News’, hosted by Dan Taylor, as Voice of London looks back on the week’s biggest stories.

This episode features the latest news on Brexit and the upcoming UK General Election. Prime Minister Boris Johnson managed to get his early parliamentary general election bill through parliament.

The Commons backed the government after the EU agreed to extend Article 50, appeasing Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn’s caveats. Both party leaders are now out on the campaign trail pushing their message to the UK public.
