Goo Goo Dolls – Its Christmas All Over
The American rock band, Goo Goo Dolls, widely known for the success of their song “Iris”, surprised us with the release of their first Christmas album on October 30. The album contains the eternal Christmas tracks “Let it Snow” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”.The frontmen of the group John Rzeznik revealed: “Its pretty unexpected for us to do this kind of thing”. The original single “This is Christmas” is also a part of the Christmas movie “Christmas She Wrote”.
Leslie Odom Jr. – The Christmas Album
Leslie Odom Jr is addicted to jazz and on top of it, a successful actor, but he is not hesitant to experiment. A proof of that is his Christmas album released on November 6. The album includes the evergreens “Last Christmas” and “It is Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”. Although the singer missed the opportunity to be part of Christmas in Rockefeller Centre on December 3, due to an unknown reason, he wished luck to all participants.
Meghan Trainor- A Very Trainor Christmas
The singer and songwriter Meghan Trainor, who won the 2016 Grammy Award for Best New Artist, released her fourth major-label studio album called “A Very Trainor Christmas” on October 30. The album incorporates six original recordings along with some of the best known Christmas classics such as “White Christmas” and “Silent Night”. Her brother helped her with the arrangements around the album which include collaborations with the band Earth, Wind and Fire and the singer Seth MacFarlane.
Maddie and Tae – We Need Christmas
If you are into country music ,you’ll love this country duo too. The Texas-born friends who are on the top of the Country’s charts in 2020 with their second album “The Way it Feels” also presented their six-track Christmas album named “We Need Christmas”. The talented duo shares that they “had great fun“ while working on the album and added that they always wanted to make a Christmas album, but never had the time for that.
Tori Kelly – A Tori Kelly’s Christmas
Tori Kelly, whose real name is Victoria Loren Kelly, amazed her fans by releasing her debut Christmas album on October 30. The album includes eight covers of holiday classics and 2 originals singles “25th” and “Gift That Keeps on Giving”.
“I know everyone’s being through a lot, so I hope this can be my gift to people“, she said in an interview with the magazine People.
