The best bars in London to watch the Eurovision 2022 Grand Final

It’s the biggest song competition in the world- millions of people from across Europe will be glued to their television screens to watch the grand final on Saturday night.

But where can you watch Eurovision if you want to get out and feel some of the atmosphere, or if you just don’t have a TV?

Below is a list of the top five bars, clubs and cinemas in London screening the Eurovision Grand Final for under £20:

Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club is hosting a screening of the final across two floors of their venue in, you guessed it, Bethnal Green. They promise high energy performances from a dance troupe, and Terry Wogan-esque commentary from the drag queens hosting the night. When the show is over, the party will continue into the early hours of the morning as DJ Safari Phil takes you back in time to some of Eurovision’s biggest hits over the years. Fancy dress to support your chosen country is encouraged.

Doors open at 7pm. The screening will start at 8pm. Tickets available on the door, £13 before 10pm, £15 after. More information about the event is available here.

The World’s End, the bar and live music venue in Finsbury Park will be screening the grand final from 8pm. They are hoping to celebrate Great Britain getting more points than last year- even if that is only by one or two. The showing will not be ticketed, and promises British pub food and great Euro-Pop classics all night long.

The screening will start at 8pm. More information is available here.

Everyman Cinema will be hosting their screening of the final in their Broadgate branch as a fundraiser for the LGBTQ+ helpline, Switchboard. All proceeds from ticket sales are going directly to the charity. The final will be shown across three cinema screens, accompanied by cabaret and drag performances and a party in the bar with live music after the winner is announced.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are £10 and available here.

Zodiac, a recently opened LGBTQ+ bar around the corner from London Euston station, will be holding a grand final viewing party, hosted by YouTuber, Star Oz. The host will be providing live vocals, whilst the final will be projected on a big screen in the main bar. After the show, partygoers can get free entry to the basement Z Club with DJ sets planned until the tube starts running again in the morning. All proceeds will be going towards the University College London Hospital fund for a new rest area for staff.

Doors open at 6pm. The party will run until 2am. Tickets are pay what you can (min. £1) and available here.

Oslo in Hackney, the railway station turned restaurant and club, is showing the grand final on two enormous screens, with tables of four, six and eight available so you can bring your friends along too. Scoreboards will be handed out and after each country’s act, everyone will be able to score how they think it went- in the same way each country will vote in the second half of the grand final.

Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are £13 each and available here.
