AJ defeats Pulev with a knockout

Anthony Joshua protected his IBF, WBA and WBO belts by knocking out Kubrat Pulev in the ninth round at Wembley’s SSE Arena, London.

The players demonstrated respect for each other at the end of the match.

The fight was the first to have a biosecure bubble and a crowd after the lockdown, The Guardian reported.

Sky Sports Box Office streamed the event.

AJ will face Tyson Fury in a heavyweight match next year.
