10 BEAUTY BRANDS FOR DIVERSE SKIN TONES

After 2 zillion years, the beauty industry has finally decided to cater to other skin tones other than the fair-medium camp-white. Seems like things are finally changing. Nowadays, drugstore brands are expanding their shade range to provide deeper tones, making room for a more diverse customer base.

‘Every time I go into Selfridges I am severely limited to what I can buy because most brands have either discontinued my shade or don’t even have It’

Fenty Beauty’s 40-shade launch right out the gate is a long-overdue approach that all cosmetic brands need to follow. Rihanna definitely set the bar high for other brands and showed how the beauty industry is improving. However, there is still a lot to be done, in order to serve black women in the right way. Yet, it is a step forward, so hats off to you, RiRi.
