What are England’s chances at the next World Cup?

It’s that time again. That time when the false hope is coming back. This time we can win the world cup. I mean we won’t, but we might.

Those are the thoughts of most England fans after enduring two 0-0 draws against current world champions Germany and the Samba Stars from Brazil. Those results were achieved with a severely weakened squad, after several drop-outs from key players due to injury.

With the 2018 World Cup just months away now, The Voice of London spoke to Matt Whitehouse, professional coach and author of ‘The Way Forward: Solutions to England’s Football Failings’ and ‘Universality – The Blueprint for Soccer’s new Era’, about the state of the current England team, youth development and tactics.
