Viva Forever… Again

After two decades of rumours and rickety reboots, the Spice Girls are officially back for a 2019 reunion tour which will have fans spicing up their lives.

Their first tour for a decade will be kicking off in June of next year for six UK stadium dates. Starting out up in Manchester with the final taking place in Wembley stadium.

Sporty, Scary, Baby and Ginger Spice all came together to reveal details of the tour in a Twitter video on Monday.

However, the famous five will be returning as a four with the absence of Victoria Beckham.

In a statement she said that ‘being in the spice girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour, I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time’

Mel B announced a world tour would soon follow and hoped that Victoria would be able to join them for at least some of the shows.

‘Its just the four of us. I hope Victoria will join us at some point’ she commented on Loose Women ‘It would be a shame if she didn’t’

It all comes after the five posted a photo to social media saying they were planning something together earlier in the year.

Even Adel was caught up in a nostalgic fever over the news posting a throwback to her Spice Girl days with the caption ‘HA! This is how I feel right now! I AM READY’

The girl power band have also revealed their supporting act, Jess Glynne in a possible way to lure a new younger set of fans into the frenzie.

But this isn’t the first time a reunion between the girls has been attempted.  The biggest selling female group had short comebacks in 2007 and 2012. And let’s not forget the disaster that was the ‘gem’ tour.

Rocky friendships, false promises and disappointment are three common denominators when it comes to the group. With the absence of Victoria and no new material, it all seems like a sure way to milk money from an old cow.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday, November 10th at 10:30 AM. Tickets are sure to sell out fast so if you really wanna go you better be ready you can purchase them here!
