Vardy, Lampard and Longstaff net Premiership awards

The Premier League has just announced the winners for Player, Manager, and Goal of the month for October.

Player of the month: Jamie Vardy

The Leicester star-man had a cracking October, playing three games and scoring four goals, including a hat-trick against Southampton, who Leicester thrashed 0-9.

Manager of the month: Frank Lampard

This is the first time that Frank Lampard has won the Manager of the month award, and what a month it was for the Blues’ man. His team won all three of their October fixtures, scoring nine goals and conceding three.

Budweiser Goal of the Month: Matty Longstaff

Dreams do come true, and that certainly is the case for the Newcastle United midfielder, who won the award for his Premier League debut goal against Manchester United.
