UPDATE: 21:04
Essex police have arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of human trafficking and of manslaughter.
The man was detained at Stansted Airport earlier today and is believed to be from Northern Ireland.
A man and a woman, both 38, had also been arrested in Warrington under the same charges earlier today.
The BBC has reported that they have been in contact with three families from Vietnam concerned that their relatives were in the trailer.
Essex Police initially believed the victims were Chinese nationals.
The spokeswoman of The Chinese Foreign Ministery, Chunying Hua, pin-pointed that the journalists should not ‘presuppose’ this case to China.
The police added: “We would continue to ask journalists and those on social media not to speculate of the identities of anyone involved in this investigation.”
The driver of the lorry, a 25-year-old man, remains in custody for pending investigation.
