The Rise of Latin Music

Latin American music has influenced the mainstream music we hear today as well as jazz, R&B and even country music. Today salsa group ‘Los Rumberos’ talk to Voice of London about how latin music has influenced them, and why more people should appreciate this genre of music.

‘Los Rumberos’ is a salsa dance group based in Elephant and Castle. Through the years they have been involved in a variety of local, national and international competitions, like the World Latin Dance Cup. The ages are varied within the group, and they have established a reputation to inspire young people and aspiring dancers.
