Peabody Youth LDN has partnered with Microsoft and Speakers Trust to deliver free online masterclasses to young Londoners this half-term.
The not-for-profit housing association features five webinars taking place from 27th to 30th of October. Residents of a Peabody neighbourhood aged between 16 to 25 can book their free slot on Eventbrite.
A spokesperson for the organisation said: ‘‘This half-term at Peabody, our masterclasses will allow you to tap into the world of creativity and access employment opportunities.’’
The participants can improve their public speaking and journalism skills, learn how to launch a business, and develop a brand with LinkedIn.
The founder of MOVEWITHKB, Kwabena Benko, is hosting an Afrobeats dance and fitness session as a part of the initiative.
Sponsors of the events are the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Community Fund, and HAYN Volunteering Academy.
According to the Peabody Community Foundation’s annual report for 2020, the organisation has offered over 78,300 hours of free and low-cost community activities.
