The 6 most anticipated films coming out in November

November is superstar season with Nicole Kidman, Gal Gadot, Colin Farrell, Johnny Depp, Julianne Moore and many more who are waving their hands to entice you to “hand in” your money.

Also, this is with a diversiform movie genre month, from documentary Manchester keeps on dancing – and kid-friendly comedy Paddington 2 to R-rated movie A Bad Moms Christmas, individuals of every age could find something from November.

There are many more movies set to be released in November that will achieve good results at the box office, but there are only a few that we are all eagerly waiting to watch. We take a look at the 6 most anticipated films below:

November 3rd

  • A Bad Moms Christmas

Cast: Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Susan Sarandon, Kathryn Hahn, Christine Baranski

This is the second part of Bad Moms (2016), after exhausted moms felt more energised again and achieved positive changes, they are going to face the challenges of the most important festival of the year: Christmas. It seems like that is not enough to create a perfect day for their families. While their own moms come and visit, they not only have to take care but also find how to gain better communication between every family member, especially when your mom wants to have a party in your house…ah, overburdened.

 

  • The Killing of A Sacred Deer

Cast: Alicia SiIverstone, Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan, Bill Camp

The Killing of A Sacred Deer, a psychological horror-thriller film, won the Best Screenplay Award in 2017 Cannes Film Festival. It described Steven Murphy, a heart surgeon, has a happy family with his oculist wife Anna and two children, Kim and Bob. However, the peaceful life was broke after he caused death of a young boy Martin’s father because of alcoholism. Then, Martin appeared in Steven’s life frequently, telling Steven that his family will be unable to walk and eat – with shedding tears of blood and ultimately be dead – unless he kills one of his families as compensation for Martin’s dad. As time goes on, everything said by Martin is coming true…

 

November 6th

  • Murder on the Orient Express

Cast: Johnny Depp, Kenneth Branagh, Daisy Ridley, Michelle Pfeiffer, Judi Dench, Penélope Cruz

This mystery film is adapted from the 1934 novel of the same name by Agatha Christie, which is called one of the greatest detective novels in the history. It tells the story of how Detective Hercule Poirot tactfully detected a curious case of murder on the Orient Express. The plot in novel is complicated and with ups and downs, attracting people deeply, but now with sophisticated production equipment, professional film industry personnel of the top level that make it become better and worth watching.

 

November 10th

  • Paddington 2

Cast: Ben Whishaw, Hugh Grant, Michael Gambon, Sally Hawkins, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Walters

It is the sequel to the 2014 film Paddington. The movie tells although Paddington bear settled down in London successfully, he still remembers his aunt who is in Peru. Paddington works hard in order to buy a special gift for his aunt’s one hundred-year-old birthday. Coincidently, he gained a mysterious treasure map, but with this map, more and more strange things happened… and what wait for him is an unimaginable terrible enemy and unpredicted challenges.

November 17th

  • Justice League

Cast: Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg

It must be one of the anticipated films in 2017! Since we knew heroes and heroine of DC such as Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman and Flash from individual movies and TV series, finally we welcome Justice League. The timeline of this film is happening after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, mainly describing Batman and Wonder Woman seek and recruit a superhuman league to defense against threat from greater enemy. However, despite the new league, they seemingly are unable to stop enemy.

 

November 24th

  • Battle of the Sexes

Cast: Emma Stone, Steve Carell, Andrea Riseborough, Natalie Morales, Sarah Silverman

Following development of society, people are gradually concerned about gender equality. We have known some relevant events of gender inequality in area of politics, business, entertainment and medical industry. Nevertheless, Battle of the Sexes will tell us about it in tennis, adapting from real event that tells the race of the century between female tennis player Billie Jean King and former singles champion of Wimbledon Championships, Bobby Riggs. Despite the battle between man and woman, what is noticeable is that Billie Jean King was the first female athlete who announced to come out in America. It definitely will help everyone to understand what have people done for improving gender equality all the time.
