Teen banned from all London parks following sexual assault charges

A 17-year-old has been banned from all public parks, gardens and fields for three months unless present with family, a judge has ruled.

The minor has been convicted of sexually assaulting three women in South Norwood Country Park in Croydon.

Victims are said to be in their 30s and 60s. The teen preyed on them as they walked their dogs.

The court heard Thursday that the minor would grab the victims from behind and proceeded to sexually assault them and rob them.

The ruling was made by District Judge Andrew Sweet in Wimbledon Youth Court yesterday.

News of the attacks that took place between May 3 and June 21, caused an outcry among locals seeking to increase safety measures in South Norwood Country Park.

The teen was convicted for three charges of sexual assault, one charge of robbery and two for theft.

The teen reportedly denied the charges. He has been given a youth rehabilitation order and a sexual harm prevention order for the next year.

He and his family are said to be moving out of London.
