Should employers go through your social media?

Young people have been brought up in a generation of social media addiction. Everything is documented on the internet and people lay there life bare on these sites for anyone to see.

This type of behaviour seems normal to millennials but now that they are entering the world of work, employers often go through their social media accounts and may find something that was not meant for their eyes.

Anything controversial may spark doubt in the employer’s mind and hinder the person’s chances of getting a job.

The Voice Of London spoke to students to see what they thought of employers going through their social media and if they’ve ever posted anything that might hurt their chances of getting employed.
