At age 47, the British supermodel switched up her agency in order to expand her work in various areas. After being in the modelling world for decades, Campbell is now taking on acting and philanthropy campaigns as well. Moving to DNA Model Management simply shows her desire to be recognized as a ‘cultural innovator’.
In a report with WWD, Campbell says: “I want to share my 31 years of professional and personal knowledge with people around the world, and I hope to do this through many different initiatives, fashion included. I also have commitments to further my work in philanthropy which has always been a priority of mine. At the core, my passion is to connect with people and I’m excited to explore new ways to do that.” DNA is where she sees this happening.
Founded in 1995 by Jerome and David Bonnouvrier, the agency seems to have a good understanding of Naomi’s career, skills and talent. The model is looking forward to this partnership, which she defined as “a unity, almost like a marriage, with both teams committed to working toward the big picture.”
Naomi Campbell started modelling just before her 16th birthday. During the 90s, she was part of the supermodel movement along with icons Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford. She was also the first British black model to appear on the cover of British Vogue and has since then been featured on numerous front covers.
DNA Model Management is also proud to represent names such as Linda Evangelista, Eva Herzigova, Adwoa Aboah, Edie Campbell, Emily Ratajkowski, Doutzen Kroes and Imaan Himmam.
