When interviewed on Billboard magazine, about why Donald Trump received 53% of votes from women despite his open derogatory views of women – the singer ranted about women’s lack of girl power. Is she right?

She continued: ‘Women hate women. That’s what I think it is. Women’s nature is not to support other women. It’s really sad. Men protect each other, and women protect their men and children. Women turn inward and men are more external. A lot of it has to do with jealousy and some sort of tribal inability to accept that one of their kind could lead a nation.’
Some women Trump supporters disagreed… strongly.

Hi @Madonna
Trump won because women know Hillary is a criminally insane narcissist whose wealth was derived from the illegal use of power😆 https://t.co/mpAdVmLiuD— Rockin Santa Robin (@greeneyes0084) December 8, 2016
To blame all women and pit them against each other is a paradox in Madonna’s case, to suggest such a thing also creates animosity between females. Lucy Vine of Grazia Mag tried to offer a solution: This problematic self-hate is not a reason to openly start shouting about ‘women hating women’, it’s the reason we need to start trying harder to understand why the fuck it’s happening, and help each other realise that we’re playing on the same side”
All that we should agree on despite political preferences is that women should always boost and empower each other regardless.
