Words, audio & images: Bernadette Galbraith | Subbing: Joanne Clark

With Christmas fast-approaching, I explore the beauty of Christmas markets. I checked out Hyde Park’s annual Winter Wonderland event, along with a comparison of the popular Christmas markets in Germany.

The German language having an influence on Winter Wonderland.
The largest Christmas tree in Dresden.

Dresden's version of the toy tower.
The stalls at Winter Wonderland.
An example of the individuality of all of the huts in the German markets. This is something Germans are very proud of.
