Fire in Canning Town

A fire has broken out at a household recycling plant in Canning Town overnight. 40 firefighters and six fire engines were called to the scene at Bidder Street after 3am on Friday morning.

London Fire Brigade posted on Twitter, saying:

There were no injuries reported..Fire crews are advising drivers to avoid the area as there are road closures in place, Bidder Street junction with Stephenson Street has restricted access at the moment. 

 

 

The fire was put out at around 6:30am this morning. The cause is still not known at this time.
