The Off- White designer’s family had broken the news of his death via his Instagram, revealing his two-year private battle with cardiac angiosarcoma, a violent form of cancer.  

“He chose to endure his battle privately since his diagnosis in 2019, undergoing numerous challenging treatments, all while helming several significant institutions that span fashion, art and culture”, his family uncovered. 

Virgil Abloh, the founder of Off-White and the artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear, died after a two-year battle with a rare cancer.
