The American multinational media company, Disney, officially announced the launch date of its streaming service for the UK today. The streaming service will become available on March 31, 2020.
Disney+ will include a wide range of shows and films including old Disney Channel classics, Star Wars, Marvel favourites and National Geographic specials. This collection will be available only on Disney’s streaming platform which will include more than 600 shows and films. Old Disney and Disney Channel favourites will become available to the public for the first time since their release.

The company will also launch its streaming service on March 31 in a handful of European countries – Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
Earlier this year, the Walt Disney Company announced the release dates and the streaming platform will be available to watch in the US, New Zealand and Australia on November 12.
There’s a delay with certain films as they’re currently being streamed on services such as Netflix. Disney+ users will need to wait a bit longer until the streaming service can get the rights to stream them.
Disney+’s monthly subscription will cost $6.99 for US users, but the UK price is yet to be announced.
