Breast Cancer Awareness Month & BAME communities

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a team from the Voice of London went to an event called ‘ Lifting the Lid – BAME community + Cancer’ which explores taboos, stigmas and lack of awareness among Black and Asian, ethnic minority groups. This event was hosted by Maggie’s Centre West London and Trekstock.

Here are the highlights of the event and a special interview with a cancer support specialist from Maggie’s Centre.
