Smart watches: they are the ultimate accessory to go with your smartphone. They can answer your calls and act as a personal trainer…and tell the time, too.

Remember, smart watches tell the time. “I guess my watch broke” By Tony Futura

2017 has seen a jump in technology, whether this is down to the latest iPhone upgrades, introduction to wireless headphones or waterproof handsets. Smart watches are soaring this year with the range of choices. Dominated by the Apple watch, classic watch-making brands have followed suit, and added technology to beautifully crafted time pieces. A fusion of the old and new. A watch isn’t simply always there to tell the time, as the icon Ian Fleming once said, “A gentleman’s choice of timepiece says as much about him as does his Saville Row suit.”

The Voice of London Lifestyle hand-picked three of our favourite smart watches, and the best short reviews to go with them, if you’re on the go.

Apple Watch 3 – the “classic” smart watch

“Answer a call from your surfboard. Ask Siri to send a message. Stream your favourite songs on your run. And do it all while leaving your phone behind.” Currently the worlds best smart watch. This simple streamline style is perfect gift for somebody who already has a range of Apple products. (From £359 – find it here)
