The South-Wales rockers have revealed the visuals for their infectious track “Teenage Wine,” and it’s premiering on Voice of London, right here at the end of this post.
Words: Cerys Kenneally, Subeditor: Alex Hurd
The grunge-gigging Chepstow four-piece use their live performances to show off their scuzzy sound. “Teenage Wine,” one of the more light-hearted tracks from their EP “Futzland,” drifts in and out of light-hearted harmonicas and grungy guitars, while the visuals showcase their prowess in performance.
The video puts faces to names, allowing the performance shots to encapsulate their electric energy, and beautiful instruments.
As the video progresses, the four-piece are replaced by girls performing in their place. As the video dips in and out of Birdcage’s girl alter-ego’s, the strobe, film-effect flashes emphasise their vintage look, and forces the viewer to become immersed in their magnetic melodies.
The boys have fun with the video too, introducing their trusty merch-mannequin to their female personas, giving the visuals a light-hearted, youthful close.
Birdcage successfully exhibit the sound and energy that they take to their live performances in this video, so why not check them out in person at the live dates listed below.
3 – Clwb Ifor Bach – Cardiff
