Recent years have seen a rise of increasing awareness on sustainability issues worldwide. And yet, according to the Independent, fast fashion brands are responsible for ten percent of carbon emission and twenty percent of wastewater universally.

Charity shops are becoming an appreciated solution promoting sustainable lifestyle within local communities. Barnardo’s charity store in Marylebone not only supports children, low income families and single mothers but aims to encourage locals to get involved in reusing clothing and reducing landfill waste.
