Report reveals lack of sprinklers in London council flats

A Labour party report has revealed only 4% of London council blocks over 30 metres high have sprinklers. Data shows that only 32 out of 837 high-rise council blocks have sprinkler systems. This is despite a coroner suggesting retro-fitting all councils install sprinklers after the Lakanal House fire in 2009. https://twitter.com/LabourSJ/status/1065931521796771841 Councils across the city pledged to install sprinkler systems after the Grenfell fire. When the Grenfell fire occurred in 2016, only nine tower blocks were fitted with sprinklers, however, since the fire, only 23 blocks have seen the systems installed. When they offered me to interview Homesafe at Slam Dunk, of course I accepted. Straight from Chicago, the land of Real Friends and Knuckle Puck, these guys know how to hold the crowd and make everybody go wild. We're lucky enough to have experienced it at this year's Slam Dunk. The band will release the album "One" on June 29th via Pure Noise Records and here's what they told us about it. Why have you decided to release "Run"? Emanuel: We had a follow up to "Vanilla Scented Laser Beams" with some sort of like same energy, just to keep it going and flowing. We feel like "Run" was the perfect song.
