Mary Poppins will make a great return on Christmas Day 2018 with the story evolving around Mary Poppins paying a visit to now all grown up, Michael and Jane Banks. What makes the wait even more exciting (yet agonizing but definitely worth it), is the cast. Emily Blunt as Mary Poppins and Meryl Streep as her cousin Topsy Turvey. Lin-Manuel Miranda who is known for ‘Hamilton’, one of the world’s biggest musicals, will take on the role of new character Jack, a street lamplighter. Rumours have it that Colin Firth will also be joining the cast as he is currently in negotiations with Disney.

David Heyman – the man who produced Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is now on an another magical mission, as reported by Variety. He teamed up with Warner Bros to bring back the legendary Willy Wonka character. This time around, the film is said to focus on Wonka’s early life and it will be a standalone from Roald Dahl’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The cast is yet to be announced but feel free to tweet us your guesses at @VoL_Ents
