Kim & Kanye have left the hospital with son Saint West, after the star gave birth on December 5th. It is claimed the son will not appear on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Born on Saturday, Saint West’s delivery was earlier than expected. The 35 year-old’s difficult pregnancy meant she faced a diabetes scare in the reality show, and it has been revealed she suffered from a condition called placenta accreta during her labour. Her pregnancy with daughter North left her with similar health scares with doctors telling her this might be her only chance to have a child. She has also said that she may need to undergo a hysterectomy after the birth of her second child. In an interview with California Style magazine, Kim said ‘the fertility issues had taken the ‘fun’ out of getting pregnant.’
In Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians the reality star said to mother Kris that she was already thinking about baby number three. She told her mum that ‘she’s not worried about the pregnancy weight after giving birth’ but was seen complaining about how big she had become. She then went on to explain that she had gained more weight when she had North, explaining ‘last time I gained 50, but I delivered six weeks early and they say you gain the most at the end.’
Kim revealed the baby’s name on Monday on her website, where it also mentioned the baby’s weight – 8lbs, 10z. A source told E! that the parents will not be giving Saint a middle name like his older sister North. Initially Kim admitted that she didn’t like any baby boy names she had been hearing. It wasn’t in fact until Sunday that her and Kanye were able to decide on his name for sure.
Kim and Saint were visited in hospital by Kardashian matriarch Kris, her sisters Khloe & Kourtney, Scott and of course Kanye. Youngest sisters Kendall (who arrived back to LA from London today) and Kylie (who was in Miami) were not present at the time of the birth. Kanye just about flew in time from New York after receiving Shoe of The Year Award at Footwear News Achievement Awards the night before Kim gave birth. It is reported that sister Khloe had visited Lamar Odam in hospital too whilst visiting Kim. In a special thanksgiving video on Khloe’s app, she filmed her family at the dinner table. Asking them what they were most thankful for this year, to which Kanye smiled and said ‘I’m thankful Lamar liked my album.’
Kim told E! that her daughter North ‘has been looking forward to meeting her baby brother for a while now.’ Having said that ”she’s so sweet, she said ‘Mommy can I give baby brother kiss on your tummy?”’ The 2 year-old already has a great relationship with her cousins (Kourtney’s children Mason, Penelope and Reign) especially her daughter Penelope as they are often seen dressing up together. They have gained a following with the iconic pictures taken of them leaving their ballet lesson and conversing with each other, particularly their facial expressions and hand gestures.
It now means the Kardashian-Jenner clan will have the most celebrating to do in the month of December. With Christmas aside, Mason and younger brother Reign share the same birthday. The oldest, Kourtney was rushed into hospital when she went into labour during Mason’s birthday party. This year, as Mason turns 6, Reign will be turning 1 on 14th of December. Now, with another boy, it looks as though there will be many more parties for the family, and momager Kris will make sure all their diaries are free. We love a good Kardashian party anyway.
