Keeping Up With ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s

The Kardashians are pretty much permanent fixtures on the Internet and in our lives. The First Family of reality TV have just returned to our screens for an 11th season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and with the amount that has been going on in their lives recently, we predict that they will be around for a good while longer.

It’s hard to keep track when it comes to the Kardashians. In the lead up to the premiere of Season 11, so much has happened in the lives of Kim & co that we’re struggling to keep up, regardless of the aptly named series title. The last few months have seen stratospheric highs and heartbreaking lows for the social media queens, with Kourtney and Scott’s break up, Kim’s second pregnancy, Lamar’s brush with death, and arguably one of the biggest stories of the year – the emerging of Caitlyn Jenner.

Along with the release of Khloe’s new book Stronger Looks Better Naked and Kendall and Kylie’s Topshop collection hitting stores around the world, it’s work as usual in the Kardashian household(s).

So what does this next season have in store? Season 10 was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. Amidst a lot of Scott-related drama, the world was given a glimpse into the hearts and minds of each of the Kardashian/Jenner ladies in the About Bruce special; a double episode where everyone opened up about Bruce’s transition.

However, with a fresh opening sequence, which stars Kardashian matriarch Kris and her five daughters, it is clear that this season is going to focus on all the girls. The first episode, titled That Was Then, This Is Now signals a lot of change, and a noticeable lack of Scott and Rob, with Kourtney explaining briefly that she had asked Scott to move out, followed by a few flashback moments of their 9 year long relationship.

Fans are reassured when Kourtney tells Kris that Scott “is going to be in our lives” as he is the father of her children Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick. We can see throughout the episode that, although the new opening sequence suggests that the focus will remain on Kris and her daughters, Caitlyn and Scott are constantly mentioned which hints at more appearances from them, and shows that their influence is still strong.

Season 11 looks set to showcase a new chapter in the Kardashian world, so get ready to embark on another season of sass, flamboyance and plenty of glam Caitlyn moments to boot.
