Greta Thunberg – the 16-year old activist, now author of the year

Swedish born, Greta Thunberg, started protesting for climate change at age 15. Thunberg who is now 16-years old, has stunned the world with her climate change protests. She has now earned author of the year by Waterstones.

No One Is Too Small To Make A Difference, is a collection of speeches that Thunberg has delivered in the last couple of years about climate change all compiled into one book.

She has taken a year out from school, and has spent the last year travelling the world speaking to world leaders.

Although protesting for climate change may seem like a positive act, it does come with its fair share of backlash;

 

 

US President Donald Trump, also appeared to mock her by saying: “seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future.”

Currently Thunberg is in the Atlantic Ocean on her way to the global climate conference in Spain.
