It’s a Friday, so that means a new load of movies have just hit the theatres. Here are the trailers for some of them, in case you were looking for something to watch this weekend.

Words: Ali Mulaga Subeditor: Jason John

The list is short, though we prefer the term concise, but movies are long, so it’s best this is not. The four listed here vary from dystopian to bad thriller to good thriller, and even a periodic drama. Mockingjay is the film we’ve all been looking forward to, but give the others a quick gander, too.

Secret in their eyes:

Thirteen years after the murder of FBI agent Jess’ (Julia Roberts) daughter, her boss Ray (Chiwetel Ejiofor) uncovers a new lead, and tries to permanently bring closure to the team.

IMDB Rating: 5.9/10

The tale of a priest accused of molesting 80 boys, told through the eyes of journalists Water Robinson (Michael Keaton), Michael Rezendes (Mark Ruffalo), and Sacha Pfeiffer (Rachel McAdams) as they try to uncover the proof.

IMDB Rating: 8.3/10

Mockingjay part: 2

The final instalment to the Hunger Games series, in which Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) unites the thirteen districts and tries to bring down the Capital, and President Snow (Donald Sutherland), once and for all.

IMDB Rating: 7.4/10

Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, and Rooney Mara star in a 1950’s movie about a woman who works in a Manhattan department store and falls in love with an older, married woman.

IMDB Rating: 7.3/10
