Enfield knife crime: man stabbed to death

A man in his 30s has died after being stabbed in North London.

The Met Police were called at 5 pm on Friday to Macleod Road in Enfield by the London Ambulance Service after reports of a stabbing.

Officers found a man, in his 30s, in a critical condition suffering with knife wounds. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Arrest of a man at the location has been made on suspicion of murder. He is taken into police custody.

A spokesperson from The Met Police said: “Police were called by LAS at around 5 pm on 27 November to a man stabbed at a residential address in Macleod Road, N21. Officers attended and found a critically injured man, aged in his 30s, suffering stab injuries. First aid was given prior to the arrival of LAS.

However, despite the efforts of emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. A man was arrested at the location on suspicion of murder. He has been taken into police custody. Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances.”
