Chelsea 2:0 Crystal Palace: Abraham and Pulisic star

Evening Standard

Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic fired Chelsea into second place after a frustrating first half against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea fielded their youngest ever Premier League squad as players marched out in printed poppies to honour Remembrance Day.

Palace showed strong resilience in the first half but their defence was soon broken by fan favourite Tammy Abraham. A clever flick of the ball from captain Willian set up the new number nine to tuck the ball into the bottom left of the net.

Christian Pulisic was the second player to get on the scoresheet after pouncing on a loose ball to score his fifth goal in three games. The American youngster received a standing ovation from the home crowd after a tough start to the season.
