Free gigs can be very hit or miss, but CUT_’s set in Dalston last night was a triumph. Influenced and inspired by artists such as Flume, Aluna George and Jamie XX, the pair aim to combine alternative electronics with edgy pop music. They quickly gained a great deal of recognition for their cover of French artist Stromae’s song Papaoutai. The option to download content for offline play is not something new to the world, with sites such as Sky Go already offering such options. Finally, however, Netflix have joined the club. As announced by their website, users worldwide can now download any content they wish for offline consumption – with no extra fee involved.
