Emmanuel Adebayor, 32, has been out of a club since leaving Crystal Palace at the end of last season.

Last month, the Togolese striker came close to a transfer to the French club Lyon, before a last minute collapse.

According to the French newspaper L’EQUIPE, Al-Wasl have expressed their interest to sign the player in the coming days. The UAE transfer window closes tonight.
