With this cold weather all you probably think right now is just a cup of tea by the fire. How to blame you? But brace yourself, because summer will come, and it’s gonna be awesome.
We give you some ideas on what do to next summer. Here are some festivals you just can’t miss.
We play at home here. Glasto is always a must, it never let you down. Teh festival will take place in June (22-26). Unfortunately ticket are already sold, but most likely thee will be another release the coming spring. Rumours say the line up will see artists like: Muse, Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, David Bowie and many more.
Between the 10th and the 17th of August, a small island in Budapest becomes the Island of Freedom. Sziget, the best festival in Europe, brings together the best music in the world for a week of madness. Check the tickets here. This year line up is composed by Bring Me The Horizon, Kodaline, M83, Sigur Ròs and many more to be announced.
The many award-winning festival takes place every summer in the Petrovaradin Forest, in Serbia. The amazing location and superb atmosphere will take you to a journey into the best music electro, rock, metal and hip hop music in circulation. 7-10 July, tickets here. Line up to be released.
Sònar is an electronic and advance music festival that takes place in Barcelona, transforming the city in the epicentre of electronic music. Divided in Sònar by-day and by-night, the festival, with its vibes, will take you into another dimension. Sònar 2016 will take place in June (16-18). Tickets here. This year various artists will participate, a few names are: New Order, Skepta, Congo Natty, Fatboy Slim.
Tomorrowland don’t need explanation. The annual Belgium festival is the triumph of extravagance in an unique lifetime experience. This is the perfect electronic festival, with al its shades. Tickets and line up still have to be released, but it’s worth to wait, because you won’t regret.
This festival is actually composed by two: Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. But doesn’t matter. different places, same artists, same show! Rock am Ring is the biggest rock festival in the world, covering pretty much all the shades of the genre. The two festivals combined have the biggest attendance in the world, for a heavy experience that you will not forget! 3-5 June. Tickets.
